NEW HYBRID TUGS

Washburn & Doughty of East Boothbay, Maine is pleased to announce the launch and sea trials of two 93′ x 38′ Hybrid Z Drive Tugs. The 93′ x 38′ hull is a proven design with tugs in operation on the East Coast and Gulf Coast. The tugs are built as Harbor Assist Vessels as defined in USCG Subchapter M and admeasure less than 200 gross tons US regulatory tonnage. We are proud to have earned Harbor Docking and Towing’s business on this innovative project. The building of RALPH and CAPT ROBB has been a great working partnership and we are confident these two tugs will meet the high expectations we had at the outset of the project.
